Terms of Service

1 · Who we are

"Clicknify Schools," "we," and "us" refer to Clicknify, a proprietorship operated by Ashwani Srivastava, with a registered office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. "Service" means the Clicknify Schools web application, APIs, and any documentation we ship with it.

2 · Subscription and payment

The Service is licensed under a one-time license fee plus an annual maintenance charge (AMC) at 20% of the license fee per year. Tier and pricing are published at /pricing. AMC keeps you on the latest release and covers security updates, module updates, and Level-1 support.

  • Payments are collected in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST.
  • Invoices are e-invoiced per the GST Council specification when your annual turnover crosses the threshold.
  • Late AMC beyond 60 days triggers a soft-lock of add-on modules until the account is settled.

3 · Your data

Your school owns its data. We are a data processor under the DPDPA; you are the data fiduciary for your students, parents, and staff. Details of processing, retention, sub-processors and breach notification are set out in our Data Processing Agreement.

4 · Acceptable use

  • Don't use the Service to collect data on children under the applicable minimum age without parental consent.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service without written permission.
  • Don't upload malware, illegal content, or use the Service to harass individuals.

5 · Termination and export

You may terminate any time by written notice. On termination, we'll give you 30 days to export your data as CSV/XLSX, then delete or return everything within a further 30 days per the DPA.

6 · Warranty and liability

The Service is provided "as is." Aggregate liability is capped at fees paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7 · Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
